this has happened twice now when to engine is running at the correct temp by the gauge the engine will loose power, the fan comes in the gauge drops to quarter and every thing is ok, no leaks,no steam,no boiling any ideas please

Hi Bill, when you say the engine looses power, does it cut out completely or does it's 'get up and go' get up and went just to idle or rough running? If you turn off the engine does it restart ok or do you have to wait until it's cooled?

nope don't stop starts ok , no miss fire or rough running its get up and go just doesn't then when temp gauge drops from half to quarter its all good very strange, plenty of water in system
