i just buyed an Barchetta wich has a completely damaged engine (piston blocked up, piston rod flyed thru the piston). So i want to ask if i could get in the car a 2.0 16V non-turbo engine from an Fiat Coupe? I cant find any of these engines near by me, but a friend of mine has a Fiat Coupe 2.0 16V engine.

Someone on hee a while back fitted a 4 pot turbo from the coupe, so it'll certainly fit. Not sure of the other implications such as wiring etc.

The Alfa 156 1.8 TS engine is very similar to the B engine, anyone else have any pointers?

Mk2 Punto HGT engine is the same as the B and should be virtually a straight swap.

Marea 1.8 has the same block, but without the variable valve timing on the head. It has 155Nm of torque instead of 164Nm of the barchetta engine, and redline is around 6500rpm instead of 7000+rpm. Maximum power is 115hp vs. 131hp.
So it's a bit different, but perfectly suitable and very cheap.
