Hi I have just bought a barchetta and need a little help
As there is a part missing from the small
Metal roof cover possible a gas strut
As I have to hold ti open when opening or closing
Roof please could someone post a picture

Nothing so sophisticated as a gas strut! There's a piece of bent wire that slides over and locates onto a nylon washer in the centre of the lid. Can't take a pic at the moment, but it should be an easy fix. The lid isn't metal, so there's not much weight in it.

Edit - just found this image - if you enlarge it, you can see the catch in the centre of the lid.
