Hi all got a 'N' plate car which has always had ABS light on, after much effort and money from various garages I've been told the problem lies with the ABS pump, seems the code reader detected ' front number 2 ' to be the issue I've been advised to replace the whole unit ? Does anyone have any advice on this or know where I can get one from ? Plus are they all the same ?

There appears to be two different ABS pumps, to find yours open ePER enter your chassis number in the Barchetta section and go to the brakes. Once you have identified it, I think you have three options, a new one, which are dizzily expensive, a guaranteed used part from a scrap yard, but they might be tough to find or try to have your current one refurbished. If you put abs pump repair uk in your browser you will find a number of firms who will do this. I don't know if any members who have had this done could recommend a business?
