Hi everyone bit the bullet and replacing belts etc and Variator, anyone got any advice regarding suppliers for head gasket sets ? Seen some on eBay from £40 right up to Fiat supplied at £200+ don't want to skimp but the latter is too steep !

Hi ! The head gasket alone is around 40euros (Glaser, Payen, Elring), while the full engine set with head gasket, Valves, camshaft etc... is between 100 and 150 (Payen, Elring...). Be sure of what you're buying, i'd recommend a trusted car parts dealer. Cheers

If you are just replacing the belts and variator then you only need the cam cover gasket which only costs about £10 inc. vat.
