Hi guys,
My da has a 3 month old 2005 barchetta and is looking for an induction kit for it. He wants the noise. Does anyone know of one?
What do you think of the BMC carbon Dynamic Airbox for it?
Cheers

Hello there, are you from Larne in NI? I'm from Belfast and another member in the Panda section is from Carrick. Did you know about the NI Italian Motor Club? www.niimc.com Pop over and say hello. :)

Regarding the Barchetta, it's the same engine as the Punto HGT. The BMC CDA seems to get the thumbs up from Punto owners in general. No doubt someone with more knowledge on the Barchetta will be along soon.

Alex, are you out there?

Hey cheers,
Yea we're from Larne in NI.
No thats the first Ive heard of you.
Ill keep it in mind and see if work will free me up.
Cheers for the help on the barchetta. Ive been told there are only 2 in NI so get things and info on them isn't easy.
cheers again

Yea that helps.
Cheers Alex
I've heard about the turbo too, and chipping the car, but it still has a warranty at the moment so don't want to void it just yet.
Cheers

They'll never notice ;)

Have a look at my sig for an induction kit. If I can't get you one specifically for the car, I can definately get one custom made. (y)

Hi Guys

Green Air are the only people that do an induction kit for the car, although it does not do much, adds maybe 4BHP.

Chipping the thing is hard as it's an old CPU and no one does anything for them to be honest. Turbo easy, well expensive. The Punto uses the same engine with a Turbo on.

German sites are the place to look for Barchetta mods. The standard car is 130 BHP, I have mine set at 145BHP so not much better really. Turbo is the way.
