Just replaced the head on my Barchetta due too cambelt failure on idle.

Car was running "fine" before I started,
though only on three cylinders because to valves was stuck open after the belt failure.

Now with everything asembled and compression on all four cylinders,
the car won't crank over.

The "code" symbol in the instrument disappears as normal,
but there's no signs that the engine's going to start.
After cranking for a while, it sometimes poofs in the exhaust.

Once or twice it has actually started up and it ran fine for 30sec or so before dying and when trying to start again it's as dead as normal.

Everything is connected up as i should,
so don't know where to start looking really...

I read the the cam sensor is frail, maybe it's been damaged in the process?

Not a big fan of replacing things just by guessing,
is it possible to measure the camsensor to make sure it's ok?

Other tips and hints are welcome!
