Before I spend my hard earned cash on a pair of Roll hoops. I need to understand one thing do they restrict the position of the seat back, I am 6'3" and have my seat as far back as possible. Any info would be good.

My main reason was to fit a type of windstop to the hoops. But they are quite expensive. So I've decided to make my own, been thinking about it for a while. Plan is to make an item similar to the rear speaker unit but with a windstop attached, so far I have the base made just sorting out how to afix it in place.

Just need to sort how to fix to the car, looking at using laminated glass for the windstop, but first will experiment with MDF to determined the size of the glass.

Dave sent a PM, but I like what you have made, Best to keep experimenting with the shape and position of the actual stop with 6mm wood and once perfected and happy with it then have it made. An original leans forward to just behind the head rests. TIP! Try to duplicate this as will help with max height and clearance of the folding hardtop.
