Good morning I want to remove the radio / CD player in my Barchetta as the radio performance is 'unimpressive' to say the least. I am not sure yet as to whether this is due to a 'duff installation', bad aerial connection or shot speakers. This is an aftermarket item so the radio CD was fitted with an adapter plate. The CD/radio is a 'face off' item I have had the face of but can see no visable means to remove the radio, no slots holes etc. Help most welcome as to how to remove, perhaps it comes out whole with the adapter plate? I am wary of applying force to the adapter plate which seems to be made of a thin plastic material so any suggestions most welcome

Most manufacturers have different methods, do you know make/model and can you get a picture?

Hi folks, thanks for viewing, I have found the manual online for the player (a Clatronic AR687 CD/MP3) it suggests two 'hooked' pieces of metal to remove the radio, looks like I am going to have to make these!!
