I love the B and I want to know it safe so...
Anybody has a dash traffic camera installed on their car?
What you think about this?
Have my eyes on a Prestigio Roadrunner 520.
This is the reason why:
It also features motion detection so even when stopped in the parking lot it will record if anybody wonders around the car, checking doors and stuff.

Would be good for use round a track or the Nurburgring circuit. :D

Kiry, to be really honest, going to Nurburgring with my B is my dream! :slayer:
And yes, this camera will have this purpose also, hopefully this year!
I already make plans for NOS trying to gather all the useful information about getting there to do some laps.

For less than £14 got to be worth it.

If it works, a few are known to arrive and not work, but if you've paid via PayPal at least you're protected.

If it does work they're not bad though, got a similar one in our Panda, although it fell of the screen last weekend and the mount has snapped :bang:

With the cold weather, the B is away in the garage for the winter, so I didn't want to pay more for additional postage.

What size card do you have in it and how long does it record for?
My earlier post said what you asked, but for how long it records for on a 32 Gig card the short answer is I dont know, but you only need maybe a 4 gb card as it will record in segments up to 15 mins per segment, then it will overwrite and start again, so if an incident happens you can just stop recording and save it to your computer,
Simples.
I got mine on next day, and you just might get stung for import duty, I hope you don't but it may work out more expensive than mine, any good luck with it.
:slayer:

I have a dash cam in the Alfa (car I use everyday) but I might get another for the B when I get it out of hibernation.

I researched by using this guy TECHMOAN who posts lots of really thorough and professionally edited reviews online... mainly dash cams and action cameras, but also lots of other gadgets.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6l45Y-8kGIo tells you about what he does - amusing enough to watch in it's own right

you can find his reviews on youtube too

I opted for the GS1000 in car dv recorder (latest one with integrated GPS and LCD screen). I am v happy with it for the price.

There are a lot of idiots out there who simply do not know the highway code!

Love the sound of the B at full throttle.(y)
I have always wished I had a car that you can hear the intake noise and the B is one of those cars.
I was arguing with some guy about this (he was arguing the fact that you get intake noise in the B) and we solved our debate after I put a camera inside the engine bay, in the nose of the car. Wow, I felt like I had my own Ferrari...sounded so great that intake :slayer: yuuuhhhuu that Green Powerflow was screaming!

I would buy one of these but what always discourraged me that it is prone to be stolen when in sight. And with the barchetta even more vandalism.

So what I want is a small camera that I can mount on the mirror with the unit somewhere else in the car.

Any suggestions? not too expensive though:rolleyes:
