I've just replaced the radiator in my 98 Barchetta and painted the radiator cross beam while i was at it. I used the Service Manual and all went well. However, I've still got a leak coming from one of the oil cooling pipes which run into the heat exchanger, next to the oil filter. (Picture attached)

Before I start removing/breaking things, can anybody give me some advice on how to replace / repair the damaged part?

What can I expect to find under the rubber hoses and can the clips be used again?

Regards
Bryan

Hi

I'm guessing nobody has come across this problem, so it's off to the garage tomorrow.

I'll post a solution when i know more.

Thanks for that.

Phoned fiat and ordered new hoses. Heres hoping the pipes are okay.

Do you know if they are push fit underneath the hose?

Regards

The hose is not the problem it's the metal tube wich has corroded so much it has started to leak. Common problem.
Try to fix it getting a new jubilee clip on it and streching the hose a bit further towards the oil cooler

Thanks for the heads up.

Your're so right, the pipes are both corroded and they cost about £70 each. Does anyone know if it's cheaper to get new ones fabricated at a workshop?
