Technical New owner of a nice little B. =) ME !!!

Hi,
I already called them, they need the car to build the exhaust on it... :(

BIG NEWS !!!
HAHA, my dad is so much in love with my "B", that he's buying one ! :D
So a new "B" is comming ! Red, year 2005 !

We are becoming a Barchetta familly !

Still looking for a cat-back exhaust !
:slayer:

Just a note if you are after a custom exhaust regardless of which company you go to they are all built up on the car, I have a powerflow system very pleased with it took them about 4 hours to build, my old exhaust was leaking from the flexible part just after the manifold before the cat this they replaced also checked my cat and advised me to keep as it was still in good condition.
The B sounds really good now I opted for a medium sports as I didn't want to have a loud sound.

Well done on the additional B in your family (y)

:bang: that's what I was thinking...

Anyone tried the IMASAF ? or an other brand not in SS ?

Thanks, I'll put pics of new one next week !

IMASAF is the original exhaust for the barchetta.
At least that"s what I have on my car:cool:

Hi,

Still looking for a sport exhaust...

For the lights, change of plans, I'm keeping the silver ones, just going to buy a new or used left one..

Done !

Chosed the number 19 (2x90 DTM style)

I'll get pics when it arrives !

Got some news guys !
The exhaust arrived, and this morning I went to the garage to put it on ( thanks TOYOTA garage ! ).

It's so nice ! It really looks nice and sporty from behind, and the noise is not to much, but not enought, just good !

BUT, I did have one problem, the tail bit of the exhaust is to big for the hole in the back bumper. So it touches in 2 little parts the plastic of the bumper. Is there any risk of melting ?

I did think about the problem, and maybe have found a solution :
changing the last silentbloc of the exhaust, and puting a longer one, like that, the tail will be lower, and wont touch the bumber ?

Did found that ont the net : http://www.fiat-sportiva.de/product_info.php/info/p2909_PU-Auspuffhalter.html

Any ideas ?
I'll put some pics asap !
Thanks

I went back, they send they can't do anything... Because the exhaust is not custom made, AND because I didn't got it thru them ...

Here is a first video !

 Them's not zorst's, them's drainpipes!

Excellent, like it. As you say, just sporty enough without being offensive.

Hi everyone!
Winter is nearly over here in France, and using the B' is just wonderful ! :p

My exhaust is still nice, and I still love the sound of it !

I'm thinking about changing the air filter, and putting a carbon air induction kit.
Question, I know the best is the CDA system, but I’m 19 years old, and the price of the kit is a bit too high for me :bang:

I went on ebay in England, and saw those:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARBON-FI..._CarParts_SM&hash=item20b3d00313#ht_703wt_952

More interesting for me... but quality?
What would be the difference between that and a CDA kit ?
Is the spinning thing really useful?

What would a kit like this change exactly? More power? Sound difference?

Thanks !

I suggested this kit before but the size of the filter is much smaller.

I would say: less power, more noise and more fuel consumption

I see, thanks for the answer.

So what is the size of a CDA filter ?
