about xenon:
"The light output from a 35W 4300K HID Xenon lamp is about 300% more visible light than a 55W halogen bulb. The xenon hid kit will also consume much less power from your vehicles electrical system and generate much less heat during operation."

Doblo,

Is this easy then, i was under the impression you will need to cut the lens away and then have them resealed, Are they watertight and look the same when this is done,

I do have a spare set of black lights for which i could try but would,nt want to ruin them..

Hi KC3.
Maybe I'm looking at a different area of black! The area I mean is the black painted 15mm edge that can only be got at once the assembley is taken off the body. I've obviously missed something if there other black bits. My B is a Mk2 03.

About the headlights, can I get the black ones from the old barchetta for sure ?

Yes absolutely.

I have a set of uk headlights insides for conversion for sale if you want them.
Pm me if you want them

Don't paint those silver headlights, they are worth alot my friend.

thanks (y)

I find a pair of black ones near me :)
thanks anyway

Ok guys!

One more week, and I'll be in my Barchetta :).

For the exhaust : Longlife system is planed (cat-back), with a Jap.style tail in 3.4 or 4 inch. (See picture).

For the headlights : still looking for some black ones. The pair I was going to buy are sold :bang:
So if anyone is in London area and has a pair, I could come next week, even for a swap with my silver ones!

Thanks !

Got the car guys !!! =)

Rides really like a dream!
I even did London-Dover with the top off (y)

For the exhaust, Longlife wanted £465 to do it :bang:
So we said no, and didn't have time to go somewhere else, but I'm going back in England in a week time, and I found another brand "ProFlow", who want £250 for the complete cat-Back system. That's more like it !

KC3, I attached pics of headlights, as you can see, the left one has been repaired, see image.

Hi guys !

I have a question: I know the manifold of the Fiat Punto is the same as the Barchetta, but is the rest of the exhaust system the same to ?
The CAT-back part ? I looked on ebay, and the price for a cat-back sport system for a punto is a lot less than for a Barchetta...

Anyone knows if a punto exhaust system will fit ? If it does, what year punto’s ?
Thanks !

There are two variant engine models for the Barchetta,
A Series 1 or Mk1/ M1 1995-99 model 183A Engine and a series 2-MK2 / M2 188a engine 2000-2005

The difference between them are with the Fuel system, Inlet manifold and throttle bodys, also a different ECU

Hence the M1 M2 listed.

There are other differences too such as ABS systems, Wheel bearings, Brake calipers and Silver Lights :D

Your model Barchetta should be the later M2 188a version.

Hope this helps.. :)

Thanks for the answer !

Helps a bit, but I still don't know if a punto cat-back exhaust will fit or not on my "B"..

Ok thanks.

Well, I'm in france now, with the Barchetta, and it really needs a exhaust.
To have it custom made here is juste impossible ( 500-600 euros ! :bang: ), and I was just looking for a better solution than going back all the way to England to have it made.
I found a IMASAF sport exhaust en ebay for barchettas, but not in SS so would like something better...

I did found a lot of SS exhausts for Puntos, and the price is like half of the one for barchettas...

Anyone has a SS cat-back system for a Barchetta for sale ? even used ?

HELP ME
