Oli,
Wheel and gearknob were ready but I left them with him as he will go over the knob again as it was a slightly different shade. Will be perfect before I send them. (y)

looks great, but am a little disapointed in the gear knob. the color needs to be just opposite. Like the original with red back. I think he took the easy way:D
Here in Belgium we have a ****ty MOT law that the shift patern should be visible to the driver.

Btw why it the knob off the metal part? Ar'nt they are glued into place from factory?

Oli,
I,m sorry your dissapointed with the knob but i cant ask the guy to do it again. Ive left it with him to redo last week as it came out slightly different to the wheel, but we did originally consider the gear knob with colours the other way, and if when your looking down on it it would just apeare like a regular black knob, Think your find it looks better this way when fitted.
With regards to the fitting, the metal stays put, you just pull the old one off and push the new one on. :)

Let me know what you want me to do. (y)

next time show this to MOT guys... HI5... really nonsense rules. if you have hand on gear stick you also should see pattern? :bang: next time they will ask for OEM olfactory pine hanging on rearview mirror.

I've had some spare time to plasti-dip my wheels.
This is the result:

Hi Bollie, looking good, have you had the wheel nuts dipped in that reddish colour as well or, no, that can't be rust

I think you may have a damp problem in the boot because I can see the beginings of some sort of vegetation growing, normally it starts off as mould, but yours seems to have taken hold rather. My old (and a long time ago) Mini Countryman had vegetation growing in the rear sliding window channels, I sorted that problem by selling the car though...:D

As a matter of interest what was the cost for the wheels, mine are looking a bit scabby and need tarting up.

Yeah bit of neglecting the car for a few years and the trunk won't shut any more as you can see on the pics. Not planning on selling the car, as the vegetation is just getting pretty now. When it starts growing from under the seats ill consider though.

I have caps that go over the bolts, already plasti-dipped too. But they are not on yet.
costs for the wheels were 27€ (2 cans of plasti-dip, and 1€ masking tape)

As my front brake discs needs to be replaced im thinking about using the bigger calipers off my 99 scrapper b. Can I check them they will be ok or do I refurb them before installing?

Anyone WHO did such kind of convertion before?

Hey looks great.

Here's my new member to the family. It's a '03 reg with a bangged up front.
Last owner had a sneeze yesterday and banged a wall:p

Somebody's been busy! Makes me feel very guilty - mine's still parked in the barn, under a dust sheet, waiting for the summer!

Finaly manged to buy the right wheel bolts. So my rims are on now.

What do you think?
Would to get those black abarth caps for them but cant seem to source them under 130€(n)

These are new not painted by me.
The old rims were painted with plasti-dip yes. And it's still on everywhere on those.

Thanks, any ideas where to source those abarth caps?
