Hello, just replaced rear springs, shockers and trailing arm bushes on my barchetta, outside of tires were wearing, metalic clacks as driving over speed bumps, and vehicle doesnt track straight lines very well over bumps are sure signs i think the rear suspenson bushing is worn. All was tired so replaced the springs and shockers myself with origional brands, this was staraight forward needing no real special tools, getting the springs out made easier by losening the torsion/staibliser bar to allow the arms to drop far enough to release the springs. Didnt attempt the trailing arm bushes myself, got my local mechanic to do it although there is a good thread on the fiat forum but under the punto section which explains all as their suspension is identical. also changed rear discs and pads while doing it, made the car feel like brand new as bearing in bushes were shot to bits allowing the back to slop about which in turn effects the steering of the car, really pleased with the results...anyone needs advise give me a shout and i will do my best to advise..Nick (y) also see link for excellent supplier of parts in uk
