I have been in touch with a manufacturer of replacement window lift guides. all four of mine are broken, so I need to replace as the wind noise is just getting to much, the cost of these is dependant on quantity. Below is the content of the email, would anyone else be wanting any of these looks like the min Qty is 8

Greetings,

We have manufactured the part from the material PE HD 1000 and we have delivered such parts in Europe. We have now ,for immediate delivery 45 pieces in our stock. For a larger quantity additional time is required. The price is as follows:
• 8-10 pcs……….6€/piece
• 11-20pcs….5,6 €/piece
• 21-50pcs……. 5€/piece
• 51-80pcs…..4,5€/piece
• Over 80 pcs….4€/piece
Previous buyers made a large order to obtain the lowest price possible by combining more orders into one. The prices above are available if you make the purchase as a person. The payment must be performed before the sending of the parts on a base of a invoice notice which will be sent to you via mail when you decide the number of parts you want to buy. Estimated delivery time: 5-7 days from the day of the confirmation of payment. The pieces above include transport and VAT. When you are sure of the number of parts you want to order please mail us, also we will need for the invoice and transport papers your phone number and the number from your identity card.

it's kind of plastic... high quality, resistant to chemicals, great physical performances, lightweight, waterproof, have high impact strength and great toughness.

will anybody create a group buy?

I changed mine with something like this made in Romania but what can I say... that plastic is way too flexible.
The only problem caused by this is when you open the window at more than 80km/h... and you try to close it... gets out of the frame.

And ones the cables got out of that plastic and this cause of the flexibility... but I kinda solved the problem blocking the cable with some small screws.

Anyway is better than the previous fixations

Hi Dave, If your ordering please could you put me down for a set (qty 4)??

My windows flap around like gary linikers ears....

Hello everyone.

We ordered a bunch of them a couple of months ago for the Hellenic Barchetta Club and they turned out to be perfect. They fit like a charm with no problems.

The installation is a bit difficult and you will need some tools to carry it out but nothing impossible.

I think i saw a guide somewhere.

If not i will gladly upload it for your convienience.

Let me know.

Best Regards
Dimitrios.

Didn't realise that so many Bs are going around with broken window guides,I am OK to order these but I will add the postage for delivery to your address,so far we have including myself we have 6 sets This calculates £17.30 per set plus local postage to yourselves is this OK?

Might be a good idea to do the selling using the dreaded Ebay. Kind of say yes here and final it over an Ebay (paypal) account.
Just a thought :)

Price sounds good to me Dave. Postage to either my UK address or here in Bahrain (prefered) would be fine. just let me know how much I owe you and I'll send it along paypal / cheque, etc

Many thanks for your hard work. I was thinking of contacting the engineering shops here but unfortunatly am recovering from a minor operation and am currently unfit to start pulling the Bee to bits

Can you order for me also a set of 4?
My window guides are also broken.

I have send you already a PM.
