nice... just suggestion, on front bumper those side openings are a bit too big, why not put there some led stripes for turn light, daylight and fog light. btw: i cannot open picture in full size... could you post some closer pictures of headlights, i have some covers i did from fiberglass... how did you open headlights? some building pictures? (y)(y)

also you could put some wide side repeaters... i thin Alfa Guilietta 2010 have those i like.

my idea is to create something like this, and in the middle of vent will be side light.

really nice work! (y)

Nice!.. (y)

Not quite my taste but I like it! (y)

May I ask about front bumper, where did you get it or is it custom made? :)

Everything here is custom made. There is no way how i can get here any parts for B. Rear bumper was inspired by Nissan GT-R and front is by Audi R8.

Just yesterday i left my softop for full renovation (they will make new softop for me at old frame). Suspension repairing will be next.

Also i have plan to put strobe lights behind front bumper side intakes as DRL.

I will post close pictures of front lights later. BTW, turn light is integrated there as well.

Have few questions to you:
1. With which other model of FIAT engine parts of Barchetta are similar? I want to put some changes and improve engine, but it`s hard to find any part for B and easy for Puntos, 500 and others.
2. I have some issues with engine now. When it`s cold, at 1st and 2nd gear i faced with engine stall when i slightly press throttle. If i push throttle hardly - no issues. But when i am moving in traffic jam and throttle is little pressed, RPMs are between 2K and 3K - car start popping and shaking. And i can hear how engine is choking. Once i fully press throttle - it`s gone. After 20 minutes driving all symptoms are gone.
I suspect injections system which maybe should be cleaned. What is your ideas?

same engines are found in the punto HGT. You probably could get parts at barchettaparts.com. I'm sure he will send them to wherever in the world.
No idea on the engine problems, I can't help you

I had similar problems, the firs thing done to the car was to take up the throttle assembly and clean it thoroughly, when that didnt work my mechanic took a closer look at the timming and the timming belts. One of the pretentioners was busted and the car was off... Other things to check would be lamda sensors i think and exhaust for any holes etc.. good luck mate!

this sounds like MAF to me or idle control valve above throttle. maybe just cleaning that will fix issues.

idle control valve could indeed be causing the stalls on low revs

I removed it recently and blow air through it. Also put some grease on moving parts. First few days idle was smooth but stalls still were there. Now it`s became same as before cleaning.

Do i need to change it?

Guys, could you please tell me is it Coupe suspension is similar for Barchetta? Coz i want to upgrade my shock absorbers to Bilstein but i can find delivery to Cambodia only for Coupe models from ebay.

I just checked at Wiki. There was some Coupes with 1.8 engine which should similar to B

1.8 16V 1747 cc 130 PS (128 hp/96 kW) @6300 rpm 164 N·m (121 lb·ft) @4300 rpm

Actually i have two ideas:
1. Swap engine to Toyota 3.0 1MZ-FE engine + turbocharger.
2. Put turbocharger to existing engine.

Just want to have fastest B in the world ;)

Handling will be greatly affected even with larger calipers and lowered suspension. If i remember correctly this car didnt go through a wind tunnel when it was being designed so the aerodynamics of it are not the best....

Managed to get new roof - made in Cambodia :)
And changed idle valve, no more shaking and rumbling on idle.

But seems like my fuel injections is ****ed up. Still have that strange stalling at 2-3K rpm and city mileage is 4km at 1L. For highway driving it`s around 11km per L.

At idle i have huge petrol smell from exhaust, seem like airfuel is way too rich.

Where to look on that issue?

Is the variator still ok? No diesel sound of the engine under 2k RPM?

If the car feels sluggish, try the airflow meter. I think on an early Barchetta should be on the ducting coming from the airbox.

No diesel sound. With new idle valve it`s like smooth silk. Only rumbling from exhaust :)

I have so called zero-intake installed. So where to look for airflow meter?
