Having driven the 'B' for the first time in the dark I have discovered how dreadful the headlamps are, badly adjusted and dim. Taking a good look at the headlamp covers the plastic appears to be be flaking and peeling. Does anyone have any recommendations as to cleaning them up, removal or throwing them away and getting a couple of glow worms to do the job?
Thanks in advance.

Oops! :p If I had bothered to look back for previous posts I would have found the answer to my question. But then that would invlove something other than, as my wife calls it, "man looking". Something along the lines of, if at first you don't succeed, try again. If at second you don't succeed, try again. If at third you don't succeed, read the b****y instructions! It's a man thing, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it...;)

Don't start another HID thread please..it just descends into for /against abuse from the halfwitted side of the forum....

Richpea, true, too true. Though I will say in my defence I neither look nor act it...

(Especially the act bit).

I have found the polishing kit recommended in a (much) earlier post at DEP Fabrications in the UK, posted to me here in France 16:85GBP, so I will order on Monday. FWIW www.depfabrications.com I don't know if I am allowed to put that in a post, if not, dear moderator, I will take my punishment like the craven coward I am.

megs plastX, a DA and a Ben :D productive day! shouldnt need too much effort to keep it up, gave a sweep of a decent wax after to seal so i imagine it cant be hard to keep looking good.

one thing about megs plastX though... totally pants to use by hand, much better with a machine polisher.
