So hi all

The B has finally gone in for a long awaited face lift and some body mods.

All seams welded over and filled. The body looks like one piece. Love or hate you decide.

That is going to look seriously weird... Almost like a plastic jelly-mould. What a strange idea, looking forward to seeing it finished though.

How are you going to remove the bumpers to service it? I can only see this being a nightmare...

Still, best of luck!

ARRRRRRR the bumpers no longer come off. The body guy said this should be fine for servicing. (Well I guess one of you will tell me other wise)

It's one shell. We looked around and everything will come out regardless. The bumpers are not Fiat orignal so I have move room behind them to play with. I think it's the Radiator that may be a squeeze.

I hope

It's gonna be interesting to see how this on turns out (y)

Like the Focke Wulf paint scheme :)

wow... hey, what about widen wheel arch?
i think this looks superb, but not so much wide only about 2cm.

Thanks mate this is good stuff.

Colour of my B will be 369 - Dark Green with a minor gold fleck. (y)

Should be done with in a few weeks. It actually looks good when you see her close up. De seamed and smooth lines. err no lines. Simple and sweet.

Wheel arches! I did see that B before. Tries to look like an MX5 to me. (n)

what chrome parts?:confused: you mean on back lights on pictures? if yes, i asked guys who send me those pictures but no response. i think that's a self adhesive thick chrome tape/stripe...

nino my only worry would be cracks appearing where the bumpers have been filled , but time will tell on that.
what size fleck you using and how many layers of lacquer you point on it?

Hi - Apperently the base colour has a gold pearl in it. I am leaving it to the experts. They say it should not crack.. But like you say time will tell.

Todays progress - Apparently the black is to check the body is smooth enough.

2 weeks they say before it's ready..
