Does anyone know of anything that can be applied to the soft top to stop it fading over time?

there's a canvas cleaner and restore kit in the boating section of Meguires products which might do the trick... elbow grease mandatory thou :)

There's also a softtop coloring kit from MHW... should be able to find it on most "tuning"-sites or here (- page 27)

Hey I still have the original black PVC top and trctly stared using 3M's marine products to clean it and restore it, very happy with it so far, I would highly recommend it!

It's not so much a question of what to do once it's faded, rather is there anything you can do to stop it in the first place.....

I put some Autoglym Bumper Care on my greying hood today (don't use it on a fabric one), and it brought back the black in a jiffy (y)

i heard guys use Glycerin for "painting" tires to restore black colour, maybe will this work on hood.
