Hi all.
Bought my Barchetta in October and should have been a bit more active but I work in Norway and spend most of my time there.
Was planning to take the Barchetta out with me and bring my Alfa 147 back but someone decided it would be a good idea to stop the Stavanger to Newcastle ferry:mad:! So flying between Aberdeen and Stavanger and only using the B for 3 days each month, having said that it has never failed to start:) even after sitting out in the snow for 4 weeks.
Look forward to contributing to some threads and having conversation with other Barchetta owners.
Cheers for now.

Terry,

Good to see some more people from Aberdeen on here! I am in Kintore, look forward to your contribution to the forum!

Chris

Terry, I'm near Turriff. Maybe we should organise an Aberdeenshire meet. Chris, do you know of others in this neck of the woods?

Well I have never seen another B on the road up here so you, Terry and me may be the only ones but i think there are a few guys in Edinburgh?? Unfortunately I may not one long for the gang of three anyway, all I am waiting for is a free weekend to do the brakes on the B and will then look to sell her as I really have no need for two soft tops and the wife just isnt taking to a left hooker....... but a meeting would still be nice, just to make new aquaintances!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
My Barchetta is 1997. Silver with hardtop. 87k kilometres.
I will add pictures next time I am home. MOT is due 11th April
I get back on the 16th and only have four days. Hope it sails through
without needing any work:rolleyes:(yeh right). I have been running Alfa's for the past 20+ years so am used to the big bills and hidden suprises:yuck:!

Current fleet. Fiat Barchetta, Alfa 147, Fiat Punto and Harley Sportster.

Came home from Norway at the weekend to MOT the B.

It passed with nothing wrong and no advisories:D

How happy (lucky) am I:):).

It will now sit for another month before I take it to the Scottish Italian car day at St. Andrews on the 24th May(y)

Hope to see some more B's there.

Cheers for now.
