Where the heck can I buy one of these? I've emailed GSR - got not reply. I PMed Oldschool weeks ago, got no reply.

I really need a decent induction kit for my Barchetta, and if the GSR one is not available, can anyone recommend another brand?

Which colour?

I take it it is the later model with the flow meter in the throttle body.

No problem at all I would like a red one please. I'm not sure where my flow meter is, but my engine is exactly the same as the picture shown on your website for the HGT 1.8.

Here's a pic, just to clarify (it has the upward facing air feed connector) I think it's the later model engine.

Someone said we get a discount here on FiatForums?

I think Peter is quite a busy man. My pipe was getting made this weekend, but I've not heard back yet to confirm. I have faith though.

The pipe has been made, just waiting to arrange payment now. Can't wait! I'll show some pictures of the kit and install when I get it. I'll also do a little write up on it - but considering how **** and poorly positioned my air filter is right now, it won't be compared to the OEM.

Guy's, its worth the wait, I am still running the prototype pipe but have no complaints!

I made it to a Pistonheads get together a couple of weeks ago and went for a run with a couple of Chim's, a Tuscan, 3.2 MV6 Omega and a couple of others - while there was no way I was going to keep up with the Tiv's under acceleration or top end everyone commented on how quick the b was!

GSR kit and s/s exhaust will put a smile on your face - trust me!

Also, Pete is a top chap but very busy - keep nagging him and he will deliver!

I can't remember, whether we finished the proto type. I see too many cars.

@ Nino_1975 - It was'nt in the previous life. It was when we met in the future.


Anyway, the early kit needs finishing. When are we doing this?

Does this do anything to the sound of the car?

I have a bespoke Stainless exhaust that sounds nice at the mo, better than the DTR one, slightly deeper tone.

I always have and always will say the GSR kit is the best £ for performance mod you'll do to a barchetta/punto HGT.

Second to that is the supersprint manifold and a good backbox.

Oh yes, you will find it difficult to drive under 3.5k rpm once you have the kit on (in case anyone is wondering VVT comes into play at 3.5k and produces a nice throaty growl)....:woot:
