Hi Guys,
I had to adjust my clutch yesterday as it was getting difficult to get into gear. When I had taken the battery tray out I found that the clutch cable was very slack, so I adjusted a few turns and locked it up and reassembled. The gearbox felt fine so I was pleased with the result. However on closer inspection I noticed the clutch pedal in the car had risen above the others by about 20 cm. This struck me as strange because usually there is a pedal stop which resists the adjustment to create tension on the cable. The accelerator and brake pedal have 'stops' but with the clutch pedal I can lift it up and touch the bottom of the dashboard with it. Surely there is something wrong!?
Thanks,
Ad.
P.s. ...and don't call me Shirley.
