Throttle cable adjustment?

I wasn't sure how best to title this thread, so I'll explain the problem more accurately here.

The first 2-3cm of my accelerator pedal is unresponsive - it does not register until I press beyond this point. Now, the car drives perfectly and this does not cause any technical issues, but it does affect how the car feels to drive. I've come across this problem in a few older cars, but is there a solution?

Anyone else suffer from / notice this problem?

You need to adjust the throttle cable, there should be a topic on it somewhere.

I think the guide I posted above is not applicable to the Barchetta. I can't find a good guide any where. Can some one help?
