Hi everyone :) new here so please bear with me!

I've a pre-facelift Barchetta, and, similar to many others I've seen, the front end looks ridiculously high!!

It's running on (excuse my tyre/wheel ignorance!) I think 16" rims (205/45R16 tyres anyway), although the physical diameter of the rim, obviously larger than bead-seat to bead-seat, is 17".

I can fit my foot in the front gap, it's about 2.5" whereas the rear end (on I believe standard springs albeit replaced at last DTR service) sits really neatly at 1.5" clearance from arch to tyre tread.

What I'm after is basically advice and/or links to specific bits people recommend so I can throw them at a garage with the words "fit these please mate!". I won't touch the Barchetta mechanically as it's my daily commuter car, although I can re-build a Mini and fix military jets for a living lol ;)

Also, even before searching/reading this forum, I've noticed a really light front end feeling even at un-mind numbing speeds on tightening bends/roundabouts! It's not confidence inspiring on a front end drive car! I've read a front strut bar will assist this, any recommendations?!

I know it's a bit of an essay, and thanks in advance to anybody willing to help me!

All the best. Charlie :)

the front end has about an extra 20mm in the arches over the rear and sometimes looks a bit odd, i have novitec -50mm front -30mm rear springs which make it look nicer, however on the std shocks they are rock hard and i may even swap them over once i get a bilstein sprintline lowering kit, going to try them with new arb's, shocks, lower arms and track rod ends first though.

Thanks guys, but the car has just had a huge service down at DTR in London where they picked up on a load of things, including a track rod end, so I'm not sure there's such a big list of faults.

I think to be perfectly honest they all sit high (as simonmac says) so that's that unless I replace the springs. I'm not after pimping it up too much though as I did that on an MX5 once and completely shot the handling and ride comfort :(

The cornering feeling light at the front end seems to be a common theme too - has anybody a recommended strut brace? and do they make a difference in general road use? i.e. not on tracks!
