I will! I stripped the entire interior out today. Tomorrow I will be hiring a dehumidifier to dry the inside of the car out including the rubber matting.

Have you waxoiled your floor? Also are there any drain holes in the floor as there was a lot of sitting water?

I have to admit that I have not Waxoyled the floor yet but if I have the mat up I will - there are no drain points but there are a couple of points on the floor that rust, they are on the 'runners' about a foot and a half back from the front.

Ok thanks, here is a pic of the interior as it stands, sorry about the poor quality.

At the very front of the drivers footwell is soundproofing which goes up the bulkhead and a few inches onto the floor area.......lift it up and check for any rust under it, I found a few patches of surface rust under there which I had to treat to ensure no further corrosion.

Ok will do, thanks again. Funnily enough the drivers side was as dry as a bone, however the passenger side was soaked.

Ah I see. Well there was a big puddle there a lot of the time last year. What rubbers need to be replaced to prevent that - or is it the roof?

Thats nothing really guys! Got the dehumidifier today and currently folded up the matting and placed inside the car with the dehumidifier and left it running. We shall see results tomorrow!

Just had a thought, have a look at the tonneau seal at the side near where the roof could rub and check for wear I think mine almost had a little square patch worn out on it and one of the reasons for the shelf filling up. While waiting for a seal I always used the garage at home and a large towel accross the shelf when out and about.

I will give it a check tomorrow, the roof is nackered anyway so that can't be helping. All the window rubbers are in great condition and seem to seal really well. B@$t@rd tonneau seal.
