I must try to get hold of a video camera and record the noise of mine going through some of the narrow streets around Windsor, the induction kit coupled with the DTR exhaust sounds fab!
The rubbing probably comes from my B possibly being somewhat banana shaped from all the crashing And maybe wrong ET (not the phoning home sort) on the alloys. But, after 3 hours driving around, in the Punto, and visiting 10 or more shops I finally found some bolts that were long enough for me to put the spacers one, so problem fixed. Well done me
Rbot measure the distance from the wheel to the wing both sides, if they are different measurements you have a problem....They should have been rubbing both sides or not at all.
I'm not denying that it might be somewhat bent - it's been crashed a few times (I bought it 'pre-crashed' - bloody seller didn't tell me ) - so that might be the rub for the rubbing. It might also be that the plastic lining's a little loose. Anyhow, not to worry: it's only a car , and I'll probably keep it until it falls apart. A few more weeks in other words
