Wow, we should meet for a coffee!! I originally trained as an HGV mechanic but got fed up with being cold and covered in oil so decided to find an office job - 16 years later I have 12 years experience in IT (although I have not been tecchy for 10 years), looked at MX-5's, TVR's, and a few other 2 seater's before buying the b and have modded a few cars in my shady past - including sticking a 2.1 Ford Pinto into a 1972 Vauxhall Viva!!

I noticed that you are in Sussex, depending on where we could meet up for a coffee at Goodwood next time I am down that way??

i work at gatwick and live around haywards heath area, but currently staying in brighton, i go down goodwood quite a bit, took the barchetta down about 3 weeks ago just to see what was going on. be good to meet up. been in IT for about 11 - 12 years now, just came out of techie last year into service management, but still do a bit of Mac and linux support on the side.

is Binfield down the M4 corridor somewhere, I seem to remember seeing a sign post and thinking, hmmm someone from the forum is from there, was travelling back from castle combe way picking up my mates clio v6 from being serviced. i saw on another post you were looking for work at the moment. have been keeping my eyes peeled.

hello,

I have 15'' wheels with 195/55 r15 tires now... and for winter i wanted to buy 195/65 r15... anyone of you tried this size of tires? will i have problems?

i suspect you will have some rubbing in the arches as the diameter is quite a bit bigger, the arces aren't that big on the B. might be better if you can get 185/65/15 tyres.

:D I used to be a Service Delivery Manager before I trained as a Project Manager, I was ITIL but to be honest its probably lapsed as it was about 5 or 6 years ago since I qualified! I have been contracting for a year and am looking for my next source of income, either contract PM, BA or SDM or a permy position as an account manager or possibly a practice manager type role again - not a good time of year to be looking though!!

Binfield is in the M4 corridor off the A329M which is off the M4, a couple of miles outside Bracknell!

I quite often pop down to Goodwood just to see if anything is going on when visiting the in-laws near Worthing, its always a good excuse to get out of the house for an hour or 4!! ;)

You don't drive a Yellow MK1 do you, I spied one in one of the staff car parks at LGW in September. :)

that will be it, i come through Bracknell way quite a bit. i have a green B i got from down past Reading near Swindon way. can't remember exactly where. only had it just over 2 months. i don't work at the Airport itself, just over the road towards the Manor Royal industrial estate.

yeah Goodwood is a good cheap escape, keep forgetting it's there to be honest, i go up Brands an aweful lot. my parents were originally from Worthing, Durrington.

just doing my ITIL v3 conversion at the moment, bit embaressing but i failed my v3 foundation by 1 point a few months ago. wasn't happy that i had to convert from v2 which i flew through.
