Definitely not for me! I think b doesn't need all that plastic.. I like to keep it simple & fresh looking..

^ I like the orange Jap style B. but the spoiler is crap & that nose & hood bulge look damn ugly.. im better off with the eyelids, front bumper & side skirts... the price is reasonable but i don't know about the shipping costs to my region...

I got plans to keep the B as a collector's car.. that thing is an unforgettable experience.

I agree it's over the top for a B. But people keep asking for Mods so i thought I;d show them what they could have.

I wonder how many they have sold. I only like the middle bonnet thing, the rest is ugly.

My bonnet has a crease in it so this could resolve that or I carbon fibre it.

Anyone know a place to carbon fibre or even fibre glass??

Wouldn't a carbonfiber hood be costly? or are you going to only dress it over with CF?

I think ill build myself a fiberglass hood in the near future when i will give the car a repaint, a weight reduction plus, with a couple of hood pins make it look faster...

AGREED.

Carbon Fibre. I am unsure - I have found a place that will do it for £300. OUCH! so May dress a piece of plastic or find a Fibre Glass one.

I also have some rust on my wheel arches so again unsure what to do. I may save up a few K and eventually Carbon fibre the front. OUCH

I bought this B as a pure project to work on over the years. New interior, new body panels. Hard Top, Turbo, etc. But not much will change from the current look, just improved upon and rust free. If I spend £1500 on a re-spray I don'd want to worry about the rust coming back. So for now I drive around in a tatty looking B (Oh she passed he MOT yesterday!!!!). Soon my friends soon...... :yum:

£300 for a carbon fibre bonnet isn't bad. Any idea what the weight difference is. I'm looking for an answer in kg or lb, not in the number of extra beers I'll be able to drink

U got me wrong man... Sorry.. When i say hood i meant bonnet.. thats what we call it in my reigon... So i want to make a fiberglass bonnet...

Around 20kgs I think. It's quite a saving. But weight watchers may help judging from your quote! LOL..

Where man can get carbon fiber bonnet for that price? sounds like very good deal!

aha... bonnet. got it. here is picture example what my friend created from fiberglass. it's not barchetta it's form some old Volvo. actualy he re-created whole Volvo with fiberglass form bumbers to spoilers. all alone... freak!

btw: i just bought some pitch, accelerator and fiberglass tapes... will post some pictures and "how to" in my thread later. now I training, probably will create holder for sub woofer behind seats, LED back lights... a lot of ideas...

will you create those "ventilation cowls" on bonnet?

I would gladly want that style on my barchetta, but not that color maybe, haha. The thing is... I live in sweden, and the company is in CZ.

How should I do to order this? Do I have to go to my "Fiat" Car dealer in my town and talk with them if there is a possibility to order throw them? Since someone did mention that they only dealed with companies? Or are there someother website/company that deals with "Designsimik"?

Any tip would be fine, going to start my project and rebuiliding of my barchetta next winter, when I get access to a heated garage and all possible things!:slayer:
