Got another soaked pax side floor so I went and sat in the car in a thunderstorm...sound effects with hail on the roof are :slayer:
Found 3 leaks, 2 major and one minor. The drivers window wasn't sealing properly at the top where there is a lip seal from the hood. Window was going over this and leaving a big gap. Don't know how to fix this yet. At the moment remember to flick the seal back down from the outside everytime the door is closed...:bang:
Other leaks were a big one behind the pax shoulder. Where the hood seal butts up against the edge of the door /window, rubber was perished. Same on the drivers side.
I got a big tube of universal flexible (not silicon) black sealer and ran a bead around all the seals I can find and built up the perished/ frayed areas. Seems to work.
The complete hood + rubbers need replacing but its €1500 to do which I can't afford. Have to be done before the winter.
