Body work blues

Over these last few weeks I have been sorting out some of the problem areas of my body work, and overall I'm pleased with my results. But today I turned my attentions to the rear wheel arches, I have a bad attack of rust, this has turned out to be just surface corrosion on the return lip so not so bad, but in the wheel arches themselves the under seal has lifted and after poking about with a screwdriver I have some really big rust holes. I have spoken to Fiat and they say they do repair panels but not sure how long they would take to deliver but at 130 each I think I will give them a miss anyway so at the moment I am fabricating my own, I am well upset as it's far to hot to be cutting up metal work, hope you are enjoying your Bs better than I am at the moment

I found a couple like that last year (but smaller), lots of rustkill, chemical metal, waxoyl, underseal and time - don't give up on her yet!

That's the plan it looks really disheartening but I will be chopping all the rust out and welding in new plates, not sure why my B is so bad, it's previous owners didn't look after her to good but this rust is under the underseal.
