OK having posted on the other thread just thought that our guide section is quite bare, a few have been put up and a very huge thanks that have done so up to now.

However as a drive to get this section filled up I'll run a competition for our section.

Over the next two months closing date 1st Sept 08 I will personally supply a propper bottle of whisky to the best guide put in the Barchetta section "Guides" which is accessable from the top of the page on the website next to Forum and FAQ's.

As it's whisky that's offered this competion is open to anyone on the FF website who are 18 or over. Those under 18 I could supply an equivalent non alcohol prize

The winner will be selected by a poll oppened on the 1st of Sept and ran for 2 wks whereby the winner of the poll will recieve the whisky.

As a thanks to those that have so far completed guides, their guides will also be added to the poll automatically (me excluded)

The guide should be submitted in an appropriate format a good example of which is:- (https://www.fiatforum.com/barchetta-guides/145363-barchetta-hid-fitting-guide-lrb.html) All pictures should be in an attached format and not using url or photobucket links.

Anyone that needs to ask a question to complete an appropriate guide please do so or read the help guide on how to complete a guide  :D It could be as simple as how to complete an oil change with pics or change the Alt drive belt etc doesn't matter how simple the guide is its more important to provide the information in an easy to understand way. BUT it has to be based on the Barchetta

So go get Guiding......(y)

Have you been testing the prizes? "non alchohol prize" :)

Sounds like fun, I'll go and find my camera.....

Oohhhh, great - I am all out of whiskey at the moment, best get busy!!

BTW Al, sorry to hear that your back is still bad. I have turned a bit of a corner, my back became so bad a few weeks ago I could not walk or feel my feet. I spent two days kneeling in the front room with my elbows resting on the dining room table to try and relieve the pressure on my lower back. Due to the pain/lack of ability to job hunt/not being able to get in or out of LRB I began to get quite depressed, as an act of defiance I decided to clean the b!

I dragged a plastic garden chair to the side of the car and tried to give it a clean. In all it took about 4 hours but I managed to make a half decent job and guess what? The movement seemed to 'free up' my back a bit, over the following week things got easier and I am relatively pain free now!

I am under no illusions that this will last, I usually have 6 months to a year between 'episodes', trouble is they are getting worse each time. I have an MRI tomorrow so fingers crossed will get an idea of what is going on..........

all the best lee with mri ask can they give you a head scan while your there LOL

hey AL i dont like whiskey mine a mr daniels if you please.cant we enter guide we have already put up and just move then to the guides section if i knew how to do that LOL

You can make any guide you want as long as it's in the guide section and Mr Daniels is OK but you will end up with the same problem as Gill.....you have to pour with the packaging still attached

There is a guide on how to complete guides and a few on there to have a look at to see what the format is BUT don't attach URL pics attach them instead.

LEE best of luck tomorrow I hope it shows nothing of additional note. Feeling better this evening after my drugs  (rattling like a bleeding sweet jar) and back walking OK ish.

just a little reminder did you forget it is me reading this post, these computer words just fly over my head LOL

if i get one done i will be sending it to a clever friend i have to sort out:worship:

hey lee how did the test go?

Thanks guy's, test went OK but I have to go back on the 30th July for the results. I have to admit I am a little apprehensive about what it will show up, I am virtually pain free at the moment but its like walking on egg shells, I am waiting for the next bout - and every time it gets a little worse and takes longer to get better again.

I know there are people out there fighting critical illnesses in a much worse condition than me but when you have sever back pain everything seems s**t! Al, I really hope you turn a corner soon mate! :)

Do Guniess come in cans or bottles where u guys live?
