Heheheee... will put up some pics at some point guys. Just doing some packing now and I'll be heading off on vacation for the week. So please, don't expect me to be too active on the forum for a few days.

Anyway, I'll check back with you guys at the weekend. In the meantime, here's a wee pick of roll bars with a windstop fitted to them:

lol

in any case... as far as the HardTop is concerned: there are still a few outthere, even some wiesmanns' :) Just keep looking on ebay and barchetteparts. Althou it appears that a Dutch company has bought all the Wiesmann Hardtops.
Dont worry about the owner not shipping... depending on where you live there are ferry's out of Finland allwoing you to cross intoo Sweden, Denmark,Germany... just drive there to pick it up :)

And, i just found a link: http://www.pertti.com/en/barchetta/Hankinta.htm

back to hard tops. i read somewhere that there are two types of them. some plastic and metalish.... is that true?

 and (hm...) what about "home made fiberglass hardtop"? (soft top can use as a mold for hardtop, with some changes and improvements...)

i you really want to cook up fibreglass hardtops in your kitchen, at least model them on a Wiesmann :)

You should have money for it Lee now that the plasterer isn't turning up ;)

I spoke to my local friendly local Fiat dealer a couple of months back about getting a hardtop...they were sure they had them but quoted €2200+ VAT unpainted. Plan B option is to replaced the 2 way slashed and taped softtop with a Mohair one..soon as I can find somebody here in Ireland to fit the thing.

I have now collected my hardtop from storage, now it's in the way here instead. I can't work out how to add the picture to the Classified section so it's here instead. Contact details are in the advert - surely someone must want it?

OOhhhh, a Weismann - I want it but sadly cannot stretch that far at the moment.................. :(

This can be mounted to the head rests, so there should be enough room for the roll bars.
Where do you get that from? My B has a piece of perspex that a previous owner had fitted and it rattles in the most irritating way when the hood's down! I've tried tightening the nuts that secure it to the chassis, but it rattles. I tilt the seat's back (both of them) and it rattles. I just want shot of this cheap DIY effort! Something that looks good too

The problem with resurrecting very old threads and asking questions of those who posted on them is that many of the posters are no longer active on here. Robot last posted in 2015...
