I'm better at polishing , so I'll be leaving the waxing to somebody who knows what they're doing.

you cant polish just yet... the paint needs a few weeks to "harden out", but meanwhile you can put a protective waxlayer on it... AutoGlym or Sonax if nothing better is available ... otherwise NXT Tech Wax http://www.meguiars.no/

then again... come to think of it... you might be better off with a very "light" wax so the paint can still breath .... mmm, maybe just wait a week or 2-3 before polish, sealant and wax :)

I was actually bidding on that one but chickened out:eek:
If I was to get another one it would have to be...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................orange:)

Yup - I'm loving the rear bumper myself (as well as the rest, obviously), but I wouldn't recommend getting one. They used more time on fixing the bumpers than the car itself... So, just to reiterate: Don't buy a fibre glass aftermarket bumper! (n)

Alan, I'm having the rear lip braced on Tuesday when I'm having my exhaust done - so that'll be another £120 on top of the £2300 I spent on the respray....and probably another £2500 on bumpers and sundries...:rolleyes::(

I finally got the few pictures they made during the filling and priming. And here's me who thought that the bonnet, boot lit and the driver's side were in pristine condition... Judging by the pictures they had to have them fixed as well

Looks ace Robot. Well worth the wait. New rear bumper is nice and the short exhaust gives it a stealth look. Just pray that hot exhaust gas doesn't melt your plastic m8.

I've done about 800-900km since last Friday and it still hasn't melted (y)

I drove around for 6 hours on the coast and in the mountains yesterday (some really nice twisty roads here (y)), but I forgot to bring a camera with me  I did though manage to snap a very few photos with my phone :)

Thanks :) I'm glad to hear that you've finally realised that grey's the best :p

The motorway was deceptively straight, so I might just be better off on the twisty roads ;) Clocked in another 350kms through sun & rain today (y) I love how you don't get wet even if it's pissing down as long as you keep above 70-80mk/h :)
