In that case are we going to get a continuous job by job descriptive update.....

I painted the door with non heat reactive gloss paint (which I obtained from B&Q item No ***), removed the rusty screws on the door handle replaced with shiny new stainless ones (round head 5x10mm) followed by pics etc etc.....:)

...... found special door handle screws on Ebay. While I was there I re-painted the door handles and vacumed out the insides of the door mechanism......

It's likely to read more like;

'Finally found a bit of longer term income, missus got pished off with walking through a hall that looked like Baghdad after an American air raid, called a bloke in who relieved Lee of his income, re-plastered, re-wired, re-painted and laid a carpet.............'

:eek:

Won't that invovle, well, for want of a better woed, "work"? (Securing of longer term employment that is)

Just picked up another 6 weeks for a big insurance company, should see me working until September, the money should allow me to sort the hall out (all of it) and get the cam belt, variator etc changed on the b!

better find a job at a big builders/decorators company, those guys who plant down or re-do whole estates... then just slip your little project between their outstanding projects.... :D

Talking about Miles and Kilometers.... :

i tried to play with the daytrip meter. i reset it i turned it both ways i shaked it but nothing.

Help!!!!! :(

When my rev counter seized, it cost me a whole new instrument binnacle from Fiat! Ouch!:cry:

But - I now know there is (or was) a guide to fixing sticking rev counters on the German Barchetta website - the barchetta lexikon. PM Giorgio - I am sure he would be able to help you with translating.(y)

My speedo does not work. At some point I will investigate and fix it........but right now I really don't care. Got pulled over last week by the police for speeding. The police officer had never seen a Barchetta in Canada and was more interested in talking about the car. In the end he just told me to take it easy and did not give me a ticket. I love this car.

Side Note. The Barchetta was never imported into North America. I think I may own the only two in Canada.
