Styling Number plate backing plate.

When I had the front bumber replaced on my previous b, I replaced the number plate with a stick-on one. I know this isn't legal now, but it looked *much* better than with the backing plate. It's generally reckoned that self-adhesive plates were banned due to people not spacing the letters correctly, so if you get one done properly you might get away with it. Whether it's worth the risk is not is up to you...

I have a motor bike sized front number plate mounted directly on the bumper with 3M super sticky pads, looks much better! (y)

I know, I do have a full sized one in the boot just in case.................even worked out an excuse along the lines of 'it fell off about an hour ago so the show plate is still in place, just going to Halfrauds to pick up some stickies'..... :D

Yes and they only have to do a bit of digging on line and they'l find your confession that you lied about it 'only dropping of about an hour ago'!
