Just got the use of a garage from a friend:D we live in a bit of a rough part of Leeds:( So the question is it OK to garage it with the hood down or is that bad form? ( I'm thinking more than just over night!)

Chris

If I leave mine with the hood down overnight I can just about build sand castles with the cr*p that lands on the dash! would deff leave the hood up!
But there again I live a bit south of leeds... but i'm sure mildue / mold would form on the interiour in the uK.. unless it's one of the posh garages with air con? but not seen many of those in leeds or other parts of yorkshire.... my own house included..:(

a rolled up fleece towel or an insulation foam tube is alwyas handy to stick in the folds of the softtop, esspecially in the "window" fold, that keeps it from rubbing and getting creased to soon :)

I have a big roll of foam insulating tube in mine, out it in the rear window every time the roof goes down. Also, always use the clips on the hood assembly to hold the hood in place when its down, it stops the hood moving around and wearing while down....

It is lazy, but I know what you mean about just getting in it with the roof down and going! I leave mine down sometimes and just chuck a cheap plastic cover over the "space". Shouldn't get any cracking problems when it is in the garage. And if it is cold in the morning, just crank the heater up and wear a scarf......

Bs love a bit of TLC and a warm place to sleep over the winter ehehehehe Does not stop things going wrong but it helps.

LRB you need to bin all the kid stuff thats filling up the garage of yours and get the B into the dry.

even spiders (when allowed in the garage) get told off for making untidy cobwebs :D
