Tuning Re novitec turbo.

Peter I'm sure you know what you are doing and have much more knowledge than me on the subject, I'm no expert, changed loads of engines in the past but never go to the degree of tuning that you do. However is there not the possibility that you will you not loose a lot in the move, ecu etc may reset? Then there is the problem with the ecu and the keys, just seems odd getting it perfect then so many things that can go off in the move that have to be done again.

Generally you are right. But there is one problem. The Novitech Barchetta is a bit of an unknown entity. If we take things apart, we do not necessarily hnow what we are taking apart. Although I have worked on many things I never will know everything. Once we have played with things and get them to know in depth it is much easier to deal with and the downtime on the other car is not too long. ECU resetting isn't a problemm. It does re-learn it all in a short while. The ECU we will most likely leave in the donor car and take over the map only and improve from there.

I just want to get the time factor of our back.
