I was trying to remove the passenger side door panel to check on the power window motor... While trying to remove it i got stuck on the inner door handle & was about to break the whole thing while trying to remove the panel... I unscrewed both screws on the handle but the thing isnt coming out, tried to pry it with a flat screwdriver.. I look at inner handle & lock arms but couldnt figure how to detach these assuming theyre the reason why its not coming out..

The handle surround is a little tricky, but i,ll try and explain how it comes off.

Once you have removed the screws, there is two or four clips that lock the surround into place. The type with a angled edge that when if you pushed the surround on if it was off, would clip into place.

You need to do the opposite. so the surround can be prised off gently but you will need to put a small screw driver into the position of where the clips and push down. if you can slide a small screw driver behind the surround, you will feel where the clips are.

Then push down and pull off. Hope this helps. (y)

The door handle can be removed with the door open. You just have to simulate that the door is closed by rotating the locking mechanism until the central lock button in the car works. Then you can easily push the whole door panel towards the car because you have space. It is much harder with the door closed. Do the opposite when refitting.

I now see that this is just what is suggested in the link above. Yes, don't forget to pull the door handle before trying to close the door!!!
