I'm thinking of putting a small flag on the wings and was thinking about the one in the pic (eBay link), but I'm not quite certain the chrome looks too good. Does anybody have any links with alternate versions? Preferabely with one that looks like the above, only without the chrome.

I think I'd like it to be a badge. Ideally something like this, methinks. Not sure whether it's a badge or a sticker, though...

I'd be carefull with the ebay badges as they don't weather too well and the chrome maybe last a few months unless you give it a good coat of laquer to protect it. The caio stickers on my little italia 90 are still good nearly 20 years on so would also advise vinyl....In fact they have outlasted many parts of the bodywork....

Could you pry the stickers off and send them to me then? :)

Maybe the easiest would be if I just gave up this idea and saved the few £s...

or get a real flag and a very long antenna.... :D

or look for items like QR 0701 or QR 146 (for LRB)at autostyle.nl :)

I had to pry the stickers off of my other panda resulting in having to get a near full respray  It would cost a couple of quid to have italian flag stickers made up or if you know anyone in Italy ;)

I only know Guido who works in a pizzeria and lives with his mom. I very much doubt he'll be able to source one :)

I've got a very short one :)o) so I think the flag's out of the question :).
Not too easy to tell what the stickers really look like... Though I'm sure "16V Racing Sporting Abarth" would look good on LRB (y)

There was a b in the Bristol meeting with the Italian flag badges (enameled) - looked the business! (y)

Yup, that's the one I got the idea from (I posted a link to a pic of it in post #3 ;))

Would this be overkill?

I've got one of those on the back of my b. It's been there for a year or so and still looks fine. See the avatar.

I'm going to put two more on, one each side. So don't bid this week, we'll be bidding against each other.

Is that the one from my first post? I'll make sure not to bid against you in case I decide for it (post the link here for the one you'll be bidding on); I'd like to have mine for when I'm having my B resprayed so that I won't have to put them on myself.

Homemade? Well-done (y) Would you mind make another set that looks like the one for the 500? :D
