today i was on diagnostics tool, no errors and airbag light is finally off.
all for free. :D:p

some guy (bulgarianbarchetta) told me that you can get inside of headlights without removing that plastic glass. you can remove whole part, and remove backside where bulbs are.
when weather will be OK i will give a nice clean from inside and a good polish that plastic-glass. before polishing, i will drive it to hot mini wash to remove remaining film on lights. after all is done, i will put some film, a see-through foil as protection from tiny stones and bugs. (like a car bra)
and i hope all will be fine in next 20-30 years... :D

If I understood my local mechanic correctly he got inside the headlights to replace a reflector or correct its angle.

i think for correcting angle you do not have to remove headlight... i didn't see it, but there must be some screw or something.... but, for removing and replacing reflector you have to get inside.

soon, i will go to vacation so i will have more time for doing this... i hope nothing wrong will happen. i am not shore but i think that Doc posted somewhere how to remove headlights... maybe somebody have pictures from eper or else?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean the angle of the light, I meant the reflector inside.

Yes you can get into the light while the light is in the car but only through the grey hatch to change both bulbs. If you need to get into the light to clean it you will need to take the front bumper off and undo the mounting points for the light. One mount is at the front under the light, the other is inside the wing behind the inner plastic wheel arch and the last one is inside the engine bay. If you want to change the lamps from LHD -RHD you must take the headlights out and change round the direction plate thats fitted inside the light.

this has been discussed before :)

double twin exhaust = (y)
"angel eyes" = :yuck:

:eek: omg. i found some big hole below gas and brake pedal... now i know that previous owner(s) was a woman or some transvestite or else... it was camouflaged so i didn't notice it before, but you can push finger into and almost touch the road.

or maybe it is this hole created by walking stick from some elder when he try to enter into b, i have to ask if Doc have this hole below pedals.

:D

ah, the Alfa Spider syndrome...

cut off the bad bits eg a square twice the size of the hole,
then (spot)weld a plate over/under it
primer/waxoil
fixed :)

I would say that this is as a result of a leaking roof, the water gathers under the floor and the insulation material at the floor beside the pedals soaks it up and because it never sees the light of day, continually stays wet causing the rot.

Have a feel under the mat and see if it's damp if it is I would cure that problem before fixing the hole.

I feel for you, but for others who ignore this problem is a wake up call to have a look and get it sorted. When I took possession of my Barchetta it was the first thing I did as I knew it was a rotten floor in the making.

i have to fix this as soon as possible... High Heel Hole: HHH syndrome. :D

i had some time so i clean this part, i is some air flow controller or something, i open it and clean those air-in and air-out holes, there were a lot of oil inside. i don't have photos for now, so i draw how it looks now.

if you notice that engine is working unstable, you should clean this.
