Doc, the drawings are being done by hand at the min, not on CAD or Cobalt but may progress down that line, no idea of a time scale yet either Im afraid. Thanks for the pic of the HGT front 4point, I found that too, good base to work off but much improvement too:devil:

I think the main problem is flex in the middle of the car between the doors so a strut that helps fix that would be great.

Flyin Miata made the one below for the MX5 and it was $200

Cheers for that Doc, im working my way around the car, slowly, taking pics and mentally imaging struts in places and how they would work.
That is an interesting design and very useful, thank you. Gives me another base to work on

Dont worry Alan, mine wont be flimsy, they are going to be done right and will be well tested on my car before being produced and if i ain't happy, no one will be getting them

No worries Oz just a strange material to use that isn't solid box section, as it has so much flex inherent in it.

I know what you mean Alan and I thank you for you concern. I should have said i do plan on testing a few materials and in different cross sections, but i said steel working off what OMP have already used just as a basis for further development
