Dear god, what's happening lately? Is there some kind of newly launched vendetta against Barchettas?

Ricky, bad news. I guess looking on the bright side there's a good chance you know which car did it, which is a thousand times better than parking at a supermarket, doing your shopping and then finding your B's been damaged when you're about to put your shopping in the boot (happened to someone on here a while back, can't remember who though).

Also I'd find it hard to believe the other driver wouldn't have known they'd done damage like that. The noise alone would've been pretty noticeable surely.

I hope so and hope there is no hassle about it, my mate who is a police officer was wanting me to report it as ahit and run va straight away , but because it is work related i hope better wait until morning

Oh, Ricky. Unbelievable. It really is open season on B's.

Got my front end damage repaired in January. 10 days later, someone else had scuffed it. It's getting really painful to own this car. I'm seriously considering selling until I have somewhere with a drive.

Jon it is just bad luck, i have a double drive and what i thought was secure off street parking in an ind est at work but it happens i would not sell a B the car you enjoy driving for that

If you can't find the culprit Ricky, I can give you the details of the place that repaired mine. Fantastic job and relatively cheap. Based off Leith Walk

 Not another one! - sorry to hear the news Jon, without knowing the relationship between you and your boss its difficult to know how I would approach it. To be honest I tend to be quite up front so would have a look at his X5 and if there were any signs of damage would confront him directly. I cannot believe that anyone could inflict that sort of damage and not know about it, a scratch or graze maybe but not a dent that deep......

Thanks LRB any signs of damage to his , i will be upfront i shall ask him where he wants to go from here ,if i get no joy i will report a hit and run planty of photos might be required ,just have to wait until the morning

Ricky if there is CCTV ask for a copy of it so it can't be misplaced, although most are now hard disc's so can't be erased by mistake. Secondly there is NO WAY that they didn't notice unless it was an arctic, even in a large van they would have known.

If there are other unit's/buisnesses in the area also ask if their camera's would have picked it up.

Sorry to hear that!.. b's are become to something like "moribund natural resource".. :(
Btw, what do you guys think, how many b's there all still out there on the road?..

Fewer by the week at this rate! There must have been about 10 accidents since I joined last December! At least everyone is always keen to get the car back on the road if at all possible.
xS

Not enough respect for the B. Its such a fine looking vehicle that people should treat it like a classic car and stop bashing them. Maybe its so fine looking that other drivers lose concentration.

Hope this damage gets sorted

I came close on the way home this evening  Some silly sod decided to jump the give way sign on a bridge at the bottom of the village, could not have been more than a fag packet between us!

Thankfully LRB made it home unscathed but I am considering walking on short trips just to reduce the odds of being dinged..........
