any idea's since i have put the sport suspension on and the stut brace, the ride is ace and corner have never been so much fun.but twice i have had top down and had a terrible noise from the passenger side door i think,if my passenger put window down and pushes on the door frame noise stops, and it happens when you go over pot hole and stuff lots of them in wales. is it possible that door hinge has to much play in it?

thanks guys lrb if you find thread let me know please.are you thinking the rubber bits could be making noise, as i does sound like metal rattle(n)

I think you may have mis-understood what I meant, the rubber bits are there to stop the rattle, if they have come loose the glass could be resting on metal and creating the rattling noise............just a stab in the dark but given the symptoms a good one!!

Found the thread I was thinking of;

Now that everything else has been stiffened there may be slightly more flex in the chassis so could be a normal side effect. But would check the door locking plates are not loose (the little round bit that sticks out of the door frame)

Bleedin agony tonight, I'm currently kneeling dining table on the laptop cause I can't sit

It must be catching, my back flared up over the weekend and killing me - can't sit, can't stand and worse still can't take time off as I am still only working 2 days a week on contract so no show = no money for the bills and mortgage................ :(

Hope your feeling better soon, I know how you are feeling - I keep collapsing in slow motion, not fun for me but worse for the kids..............................

We'll suffer together.....

Got some physio earlier today and he decided that acupuncture would be a good idea but as it didn't particularly work last time he would use the long needles.....Now not seeing them as I was lying face down I didn't think that they wouldn't be that long as I had seen the normal sized ones in the past.

After about 15-20min he took them out and I seen one it was at least 6" long   I know the size as I have an easy reference point :)

 Been there done that!! Made my back worse as my muscles clamped tight on the needles and he then struggled to get them out!!

I have been in serious pain over the past couple of days, I am a little worried that I have another disc on its way out - trouble is as a low life contractor I no longer have private health so cannot go to a specialist for a consultation. What I need is another MRI to see if things have deteriorated over the past 2 years, trouble is I have bugger all chance of that on the NHS!!

Now had my 5th physio appt and it doesn't seem to be getting better for now  so will look into other avenues. Thing is when you are in so much pain you can't be @r$ed doing anything else. Think swimming is out, but will def consider massage :yum::)

Remember it's your back which needs to be massaged, and not other parts :p

been looking all around door and no joy could it be hood cover do think there is a lot of movement in it.
all the best with the massage al and you wont have to worry you will only get your back done if you go to a qualified therapist check there qualifications before you book:)check the federation of holistic therapist to be sure

I have a very good friend that is Holistic trained and qualified but she is in Derby and I can't drive that far  will have a look locally as she keeps telling me to do. Thanks again Karen for the advice....

Re the Hood cover there shouldn't be any movement as it should be firmly against the rubber seal, mind just check that it's locking in both positions.

ok still got the noise we have check door lock, hinges, tightened roof cover which had a lot of play and it is still happening.
so with roof down today i rest my arm on the door and still making a noise, so i looked inside roof area and you can wiggle the roof side to side and there is the squeak it looks like it is the frame of the soft top.
now how do i stop that then it is driving me nuts.
