he, he. nice work. i just finished mine. :)

i will also paint words to red.
about removing battery... i remove this few times, you can freely remove this. your clock will not work, and radio may lost memory... but, i all other will be fine.

Nice job guys!

As far as the battery is concerned you should have no issues. I often remove mine when working on the car 'just in case', its so easy to set off a sensor and be stuck with a dash light that I just don't chance it.

Check the stereo that you have fitted, obviously if yours has a code make sure you know if before disconnecting the battery!

nice (y)

now, to fully match the colour of the car, it needs a clearcoat and then some wax :)

Last night the battery tray had its turn for a re-spray. There were 4 bolts to remove which I have circled in the pictures. Easy job. (y)

(y) Nice work (y) You could have given the battery a good clean while you was at it!

I did think about it but looked like it was about to rain so I just put it all back under the bonnet. I can't stop the mods now - even more so after the Italian car show in Bristol.

I went to get a quote for pulling dents out this morning but because the dents are so slight, they are actually more complicated to get out. I will try someone else. A scratch on one side has removed some lacquer/ gloss so I was told the whole wing would need re-spray. With other scratches I may be better off with a whole re-spray. I was told about £1,000. Does anyone else have any info on re-spraying and prices paid? I would rather have had areas touched up but with the metallic paint. I don't know if that is possible.

Nick, one mod LIMA and I were very impressed with was this one........... :D ............. yes folks that really is a washer where the dipstick once sat!!

Embarrassing excuse for dipstick. In my defense, it was there when I acquired the B but it should be replaced asap - especially now I've been shamed.

I was talking to my dad about a re-spray. He thinks I'm mad but doesn't see all the imperfections that I can. It will have to go on the list.

New brakes next. I want leather seats as well now that I have seen others.

Top tip, lie to your parents about car spend - I have been lying to mine since a very young age and get away with most things!!

If you make it on the 11th you will be able to pick up brakes, if you cannot make it PM me your number and I will give you a call and let you know how much they are selling for. Go for grooved discs and fast road pads, you WILL notice the difference!

Rosso Racer has just fitted a set of leather coupe seats to his b, seats are in excellent condition and he only paid £60 for them on eBay!!

Small upgrades pictured - New dipstick (old one was very unofficial) and boot carpet mat. New flat blade wipers to be fitted tonight. Just doing some cheap stuff for a bit.

Forgot to say that I got those bits from Barchettaparts.com Webshop. So thank you to them and I recommend their service.

You'll be wanting to upgrade the brakes next! ;)

I have fitted a set, trouble is the spoilers are facing the wrong way!

:ROFLMAO:

BOSCH flat blades replacement set for a '95 Ford Fiesta should be a match ... it should be impossible to fit them "wrong"
although, you might need to order them from mainland europe :)
