sounds good. I don't know if this is thé software, but it is something, and you can try one of these links:

http://www.mageti.nl/download.htm (dutch, i can help you translate if you want, but the program can handle with ELM323)

try also this one
http://home.wanadoo.nl/sanderqv/diag/KWP2000Test.zip

i have got also another program wich can handle with KWP2000 (your Barchetta) and KW71 (my barchetta) but i have to wait for the reply of the guy who is gonna send me the software :)

with the last one several ECU's of Fiat are readed :)

Looks like the first one might work but its not in English so its not that easy to work with.

The person who made the software said it works with a 16v Fiat 1997-2000 Fiat (tested on Bravo / Multipla 1.6 16V so fingers crossed.

Could you let me know what all this is in English? I will try this software tomorrow night and let you know.

Re: B-problems /code reader

There was a guy on the Fiat Coupe forum who made & sold a 'widget' which read out the Fiat Coupe ECU data and (I think) allowed various on off toggles, inc resetting the airbag light. it only worked on the 16v/16vt and not the later 5 pot engine. You might look at that forum..'Barnacle' was his handle...

Maybe the engines are similar enough for the code reader to work???

okay, do the other programs work? If so, I'm gonna buy the parts directly :)

My engine is not normal anymore.. IT USES 3,5L OIL per 150KM!!!!!!!
What can be the problem? There is also 2cm oil in the inletmanifold.....
Maybe it's a valve? I don't know it anymore:cry::cry:

i have done a leaktest, and the air is coming out through the oil-fill-gap.

i think i might have a problem now:cry:

i think i'm gonna buy a new barchetta only for the parts and the engine. That's a lot cheaper than repair the engine :)

or try to fit in a Suzuki Hayabusha engine, its only a 1300 cc motorcycle engine :D

take the time :) i don't need ECU-read-hardware anymore, because I know now that the problem is mechanically :(
