![]() | Re: Clicking Sound Sorry guy's, I would have taken photo's but it was pee-ing down, part number of the Magnati Marelli Motor is TGE 428G. I have been able to source one from eBay for £50 (including the in-line relay), I will let you know how I get on and take piccies of the re-assembly. The job is simple but you need to totally strip out the wiper system!

![]() | Re: Clicking Sound Hi Ricky, I have not got the relay to hand but will get a couple of snaps later today, the pictures below were taken a couple of months ago when I initially investigate the issue. There are no clear marks of part numbers on the relay ![]() I searched under 'FIAT wiper motor' as I figured out that other FIAT models built in the '90's would use the same part, economies of scale and all that! When searching on eBay I noticed a couple of Coupe motor's that look the same). This is the place I managed to source mine from; http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SHOP4PARTS-OUTLET I found these, the motor looks similar but you would need to check with the sellers to make sure they are the correct motor; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/fiat-marea-bra...QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FIAT-COUPE-199...QQcmdZViewItem Anyhow, here are the piccies - get in touch if you need any help ![]()

![]() | Re: Clicking Sound OK, the f*****g wiper saga continues.... Received the new motor a couple of days ago and decided to fit it today. Put all of the parts back together, fitted the motor re-fitted the assembly to the car and woops, the motor works but the wipers don't. Lot's of fiddling and re-aligning the arm etc and still not joy. Hmmmm, I thought - this is odd as I have put it all on the way it came off, what could be the issue I wondered. So I decided to remove the drive arms and turn the spindle that the wiper sits on by hand and guess what? They don't flippin' move, a little further investigation (removing the plastic cover) and guess what, the spindles are rusted solid in their housing. I would imagine they have begun to rust insitu, the motor has been struggling against the rust and it has finally given up............. So, now I have to try and source a wiper arm assembly and hope it does not f*****g rain - I am NOT in a good mood............. ![]()

To remove the spindle from the bush there is a C clip, once the clip is removed it doesn't look so bad.

![]() | Re: Clicking Sound Thank you Bentley, you just saved me £180!! I called FIAT and they want £182.30 but its a special order part so you have to pay up front and wait..........also called DTR a few times but could not get through! I found the little clip, removed it and gave the spindle a bloody good thump with a hammer and managed to remove it! I cannot believe how rusty it is, just going to have a go with a wire wheel and can of hammerite..................
