Like this...........? :D

A fine first effort, I thought maybe even more tasteful, imagine a deeper red with Barchetta logo large and the small brand LRB logo on the breast.

It's still the drugs, the Quack took a hammer & chisel to my ankle.

:D It was a serving hatch - I removed it and covered it over to make it not so 70's!!!!
Shame! thats a nice feature. It reminds me of our house when we were kids, serving hatch, orange plastic 3 piece suite, green patterned carpet, mahogany display shelves partitioning the room, lots of orange pine cladding. you have quite a project on your hands.
I'm in the middle of doing our bathroom. Nearly killed some of the neighbours at the weekend when we had a cast iron bath delivered (24 stone!) - the driver wouldn't come right to the house and it took 6 of them to get it down the street with people coming out to watch... When it came to getting it up the stairs they all suddenly had to be somewhere else...

Well whilst we're al dreaming and talking about renovations......

I've always wanted to live in a house like Wallace and Grommit, what I mean is I want to be able to slide straight into my Barchetta from the dinning table, have the car come up on a lift and out of automatic doors, then have the pond flip over so I can drive out (not sure how they manage the water but still).

How much do you reckon for that little lot? I'm just setting up the remote opening for the gates and the garage, I've got a Barchetta so I don't have to worry about getting in through the roof, so I must be half way there!

Don't forget about being splatted in the face with porridge!

:D - bathroom is on the list (should probably get to that in time for the 2012 Olympics).............

Trouble with our place is its had a lot of DIY have-a-go hero's through it and they have all left their mark, its impossible to 'make good' so every room is being re-wired, re-plastered, re-floored.............taking ages and costs a small bloody fortune!

Sounds fab, although mine is more 'the house that Jack built' or the one from 'moneypit'............

how about an island somewhere (in the atlantic/pacific??) with a swimming pool that slides away and tilting palmtrees..?

Note: also comes with a female that owns a horrible PINK 6-wheel RollsRoyce

Hmm, like the island idea but I'm not sure about posh totty with a pink six wheel roller and butler in tow :)

Grrrr, as this is my thread I am going to have a quick rant on it!

Just spent an hour cleaning the car off to get rid of the couple of mill of road salt that was busy eating into the paintwork and gave the underside of the car a good wash down with water. Chamois'd her off and went inside for a cup of tea and a neighbour was inspired by my efforts, parked his car next to mine and hosed it off - covering mine in splatter from his hose!

I pointed the issue out to him but he did not seem to understand, but then it was the first time he had cleaned his car since last summer!

A little heads up for a great little mod / upgrade for your Barchetta cooling.

This is a real hard to find part as its from the aircon Bs only. You can mod the dual fan so that both fans cut in when the engine gets hot (y) The only problem is that it sucks in wild stray cats and dogs in the summer. LOL

Click for eBay link.

The bloke will take paypal so it makes buying this part a load simpler.

Starts at 99.oo euro

FYI I did this mod last year and its been working fine in my B all this time.
