Big improvement LRB, that looks well, nice work(y)
Does the oil breather help much?

Mark

The oil breather has made a difference to the gunk going onto the throttle body, before it was fitted I used to clean the throttle body once a month and it would always be a bit dirty, I cleaned the throttle body while I was waiting for the paint to dry and it was nice and clean!! Only trouble with the breather is you get the smell of oil vapour from time to time - oil catch tank is the best solution.........

Busy fitting grooved discs and applying a coat of waxoyl at the moment............

Not to the discs I hope:D

Nice to see you're still about SS!! - and no not waxoyl-ing the discs!

Yea i want one of those, nice shinny red one would be nice:D
What discs did you go for out of interest?

mark

I went for Red-Dot 20 grooved but only 'cos I picked them up off eBay for £20 - still had the original price sticker of £130 on the box when I got them!!

So, I finally managed to take the b for a spin and try out the new discs. Took about 20 mins to 'warm them up' and bed in the new pads but there is a difference in stopping on the front - thinking that I should put a set on the rear now............

Met a friend in a pub for lunch, walking away from the b and I turned around to see smoke rising from the discs - guess I gave them a really good 'warming up'!!!

Sounds like a plan, you can get everything on Ebay given time.
Ive used EBC green stuff in the past and found them to work really well so will probably stick with them
Keep us posted when you find them

Very nice, opposite of what im trying to do though, ive the newer round badges on the front and rear and id like to replace them with black abarth badges but they are a weird size :bang:
