Well, I'm a little bored tonight so I thought I'd set a poll as to which are the most popular standard wheel for the mk 1. Think I like the multispokes best though the standard steelies look pretty cool too.

Option 1 - Steel
Option 2 - Multi-hole
Option 3 - 5 spoke
Option 4 - Multi-spoke

Yup, option 4 for me, turbine style multi-spokes win hands down!!

As you've mentioned barchettaparts elsewhere... they have one for sale for €125

I already saw that one Zem - but €125 sans shipping for one alloy's a bit expensive, especially considering I'd also have to buy the rubber, so I ended up with buying 4 other alloys with almost new studded tyres (one of them punctured, though ) for €250. And now I can sell my 3 Fiat ones for €375.... Any takers? (Most likely only ****-takers...)

there.s a trip down memory lane had several of these in my day.once had one with fur inside and a rubber duck bigger than the robin!!!

thank goodness i grew some sense as i got older!!!

my choice has to be 2 as i got a set of them in my garden waiting for new tyres and a respray.

There is a list of cars that wire wheels suit, DB5 and DB6's, AC Cobra's, E Type Jag,s 250gt's to name but a few but me thinks that the Barchetta will never belong to the wire wheel club!!

Would need to see them on to give a definative thumbs down, BUT I think the shape of the Barchetta may just suit them

I drive three panda's but don't think they would suit wire wheels
